Products

What are Silverground products made from?

The Silverground range is constructed from cotton, washed linen, merino wool, felted wool, bamboo lyocell, and beech wood. Each product page lists the precise composition for the relevant item.

Why are these fibres used?

These fibres are breathable, regulate temperature, and tend to soften with use. Silverground products are matched to use case: linen and cotton are suited to warmer sleepers, merino and felted wool are suited to cooler rooms, and lyocell provides a smooth, cool finish.

How should Silverground bedding be cared for?

Most cotton, linen, and lyocell items may be washed at 30 to 40 degrees on a normal cycle. Merino and felted wool items should be hand washed in cool water with a wool-safe detergent, or dry cleaned. Customers should refer to the care label sewn into each product, since fabric weight affects the recommended routine.

Will the colours fade over time?

Silverground fabrics are dyed to retain colour through normal washing. To preserve colour, wash in cool water, turn covers inside out, and dry away from direct sunlight. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight will fade any textile fibre.

What is the expected lifespan of Silverground bedding?

With normal care, cotton and linen sets remain in serviceable condition for several years. Wool throws and cushions are hard wearing and typically have a long service life. Linen, in particular, softens over time.

Orders and delivery

How long does delivery take?

The total estimated delivery time for orders to UK addresses is 3 to 10 business days. This comprises 1 to 2 business days of handling and 2 to 8 business days of transit. Full details are set out in our Shipping Policy.

Is shipping free?

Yes. Standard shipping to UK addresses is free of charge on every order, with no minimum spend.

Where do you ship?

At present, Silverground ships to the United Kingdom only, including England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Additional destinations will be announced in due course.

Can I cancel my order?

You may cancel your order within 90 days of receiving it. Please notify us by email at info@silverground.co.uk or call us on +44 7520 665467. Full details are set out in our Cancellation Policy.

Can I change my address after ordering?

Address amendments are possible while the parcel is being prepared at our fulfilment centre. Once the parcel has been transferred to the carrier, redirection is not possible. Customers should contact us as soon as any error is identified.

Returns

What is the Silverground return window?

The return window is 90 days from delivery. Refunds are issued within 7 days of receipt of the parcel at our return address. Silverground does not accept exchanges. Return postage is the responsibility of the customer unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect. Full details are set out in our Return Policy.

What if my order arrives damaged?

If your parcel arrives damaged or your order is incorrect, email info@silverground.co.uk with a photograph. In such cases, Silverground covers return postage and the cost of any replacement.

How do I start a return?

Email info@silverground.co.uk with your order number and a description of the item being returned. A response will be issued with the return address and any further instructions required.

Payment and privacy

Which payment methods are accepted?

Is my payment information secure?

Yes. Payments are processed via Shopify Payments and other approved providers, all of which are PCI compliant. Silverground does not see or store your full card number on its own systems.
